MINI-BULLETIN

MESSAGE  FROM  PTO  CO-PRESIDENTS

Hi Unionville High School Families:

           Just a reminder that we are not publishing a November issue of
The Bridge this year and we will not be holding a November PTO meeting.
           We hope everyone is feeling well and staying one step ahead of
the flu challenges we face on a daily basis.
           We are happy to announce that we have chairs for our 2010 Used
Book Sale.  Leah Gower and Ann Weber will be working together this year to
bring us another amazing event.  Keep an eye out for volunteer sign-ups.
We need your help!
           Things are under way for the 2010 After Prom. A Steering
Committee has been assembled and a theme chosen.  Michelle Montgomery,
Lori Joseph, Dawn Talley, Katy Donovan as well as the two of us, will be
coordinating this year’s party.  Again, please volunteer to help out.
           Our next PTO meeting is Tuesday, December 8th at 9:30 AM in
the Staff Lunchroom on the “A” floor.  Please join us.
           Just a reminder  . . . tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd is
Election Day.  Please remember to vote.
           Feel free to contact either one of us with any concerns,
questions or suggestions that you have.

ART GALA REQUEST FOR FOOD DONATIONS

The 34th Unionville Art Gala is quickly approaching - Friday November 13th
from 7-10pm and Saturday November 14th from 10am -2pm,
This exciting event will feature 70 professional artists, 75 student
artists, student musicians, a fantastic silent auction which includes
another stunning original work of art, and more.
Every year we ask that parents and local food establishments donate hors
d'hoeuvres to be served during the opening night of the Gala. Please email
Food Committee Chair Dolores Stanczuk at Ding1184@aol.com with specific
contribution and quantity.  All items/finger food will be butler served on
silver trays by our student volunteers. We will cook and prepare all food
in the UHS kitchen.  We will need about 30 persons/families to donate in
order to make this a success again.

chicken skewers                                                  
petit fores
mini phyllo tarts with brie and apricot preserves       
mini cream puffs
shrimp/cocktail sauce                                           
chocolate covered strawberries/pretzels                                  

french bread with roast beef

small strombolis                                                     
brownies
mini quiche                                                             
bite sized bar desserts
boneless buffalo wings
cheese sticks
sausage balls                                                     
stuffed mushrooms
tea sandwiches
veggies,  i.e. cucumbers with dill sauce
pin wheels
mini stuffed tomatoes
variety of frozen hors d' oeuvres from Trader Joe's, Sam's etc...
