SUMMER OFFICE HOURS FOR ALL SCHOOLS
In order to achieve energy and operational savings the UCFSD schools will have revised work schedules for an 8 week period this summer. Office hours for the public to visit/use our facilities will be 7:30am—3:30pm Monday through Thursday. The revised schedule will begin on June 15, 2015 and end on August 7, 2015.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN ROBOTICS? SCIENCE? TECHNOLOGY?
Would you like to participate in robotics competitions during the 2015-16 school year?
FIRST is a not-for-profit organization devoted to helping young people discover and develop a passion for science, engineering, technology, and math. The FTC (FIRST TECH Challenge) is for Grades 7-12.
Several UHS students recently competed in the Eastern Super Regionals where they won the Motivate award for best embodying spirit as well as connecting to the community. They finished 19th out of 64 teams at the World championships, setting the high score there, as well as earning other nominations and distinctions. Congratulations to our amazing team!

UNIONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ROWING Learn-to-Row Camp
Session 1: Aug 3rd - 7th
Session 2: Aug 10th-14th
Our summer Learn-to-Row camps are a great way for new rowers to get involved with our
competitive rowing program. Campers will spend time on the water and on land learning the language of rowing, boat handling and rowing technique, general conditioning on the ergometer (rowing machine), and land-based workouts. The week will end with a short race to test rowing skill!
Time: Monday - Friday; 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
Location: Wilmington Rowing Club
Maximum Capacity: 9 rowers; 2 coxswains
Cost: $450
Who: Brand new rowers – no experience necessary
8th grade – High School; Must be at least 14 years old

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY'S RELAY FOR LIFE – FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 6 PM, UHS
Come join the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on Friday, June 5th starting at 6:00 p.m. at Unionville High School. This is the world's largest fundraising event to end cancer. KENNETT CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND UNIONVILLE-CHADDS FORD SCHOOL DISTRICT SPONSOR FREE ANNUAL COMMUNITY BREAKFAST – SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM, UHS CAFETERIA
The Administrators of the Kennett Consolidated School District and the Unionville Chadds Ford School District will once again sponsor the Annual Kennett/Unionville Community Breakfast. This joint event brings together members of both school districts for a morning of good food, good company, and fellowship.
This year's Community Breakfast will be held in the Unionville High School Cafeteria and coincides with the Kennett/Unionville Relay for Life fundraiser, which has raised tens of thousands of dollars for cancer research, care, and prevention over the past several years. The "Team of Rivals" assembled by the superintendents will break bread together and serve the community a healthy and hearty breakfast.

UNIONVILLE ELEMENTARY IS COLLECTING USED SHOES
We thought the UHS parent and student community would like to know about a service project that is going on at Unionville Elementary. UHS FOOTBALL QBC MULCH FUNDRAISER
The UHS football team has an annual fundraiser to reduce the additional expenses paid for by the Quarterback Booster Club. The Quarterback Club is a subcommittee of the Unionville Sports Council. The football team raises funds by spreading customers' mulch after they have it delivered to their homes. We hope the community will support us by using our mulch spreading services this spring!
