UHS PTO Volunteer Opportunities for the 2016-2017 School Year
Dear Current and Incoming UHS Families
The UHS PTO has many wonderful and important programs and events that we run during the school year. We are in need of several UHS PTO Committee Chairs to fill open positions this upcoming school year.
Volunteering is great way to get involved, meet people and enrich the lives of the students at UHS.
If you are interested in volunteering for one of the open positions or have questions about what is involved with a particular volunteer opportunity please contact Kim Lauder at email@example.com. No experience is necessary and the current committee chair or an Exec Board member should be able to provide you with guidance so the transition of responsibilities from one person to the next is a smooth one.
Open UHS PTO Committee Chair Positions:
Coat Drive Chairperson(s) – Coordinate the UHS portion of the district's annual coat drive
Library Center – This position works with the librarian and coordinates parent volunteer hours in the library
Membership Chairperson – Coordinates the district directory orders/payments, volunteer list and the booster drive donations
Photographs – Liaison between photography company and the school
Practice SAT – Coordinates and sets the practice SAT testing sessions at UHS
PTO Storage/ Inventory – monitors PTO assets stored in the sheds and controls when / if the assets can be lent out
UHS Used Book Sale – Runs, with the help of the Used Book Sale Committee, the annual Used Book Sale for UHS
