The UHS PTO welcomes you to attend our next PTO meeting.
We will meet at 9:15 on February 9th in the newly renovated main office conference room.
Please join us as Mr. Conley welcomes us into the expanded office conference room so he can show what was purchased with the approved PTO grant given to this project in the fall. It will be a first hand demonstration of the flexibility and usefulness of what was requested in this particular grant.
We hope you can attend the PTO meeting so you can:
1) hear all about the important changes being made to the MLK Food Drive this year
2) learn about what is being worked on with respect to After Prom, hear about its mission and goals and find out how you can get involved
3) hear the latest on the Used Book Sale, the PTO's biggest fundraiser of the year
4) participate in an open forum with Mr. Conley where questions you may have about events/situations at the high school can be asked
Should you have any questions prior to the PTO meeting you may contact Kim Lauder or Luci McClure
We hope to see you there!

The Community Scholarship is a grant of a stated amount of money collected annually from the school community by open solicitation. Its purpose is to award the worthy student who wishes to continue his/her education following graduation from Unionville High School. The grant is for the first year of post-secondary work only and will be applied toward college costs (i.e., tuition, room and board). As many grants will be made annually as the treasury of the Community Scholarship can support. The categories for selecting recipients are cumulative grade point average (GPA) as of the end of the third quarter, the score on a timed, handwritten essay, and school activities verified in all four years. Students who have transferred to UHS should have previous school activities substantiated on an official transcript or document with the school seal from the former accredited high school. Essay date: TBD (will either be Feb. 27 or March 1 depending on facilities requests).
Deadline: Completed application due to Counseling Center by February 20, 2017.
